Get ready for a summer of fun with the Town of Brownsburg’s free community events! With activities for all ages from May through August, residents can look forward to live music, outdoor movies, and engaging sports programs that bring the community together for unforgettable experiences.
Kicking off the summer is the Summer Soundtracks live concert series, presented by Indiana Members Credit Union, on Friday, May 30, at Arbuckle Acres Park. Local cover band I Told You So will start the evening at 6 p.m. with 80s rock. At 7 p.m., local cover band The Hypnotix will take the stage with classic rock hits. Families are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to the concerts to enjoy the live entertainment. In addition, fun-filled yard games will be available for kids to play. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Central Indiana’s favorite food trucks. There will also be a beer and wine garden for adults 21+.
Enjoy outdoor movies with the Movies in the Park series, presented by Centier Bank. On June 27, view Moana at Arbuckle Acres Park. Visit the park at 6 p.m. for a special singing session by Mr. Daniel Sings. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. Free popcorn will be available! On July 25, enjoy a throwback movie and watch E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial beginning at 7 p.m. On August 29, enjoy Kung Fu Panda 4 at 7 p.m. Enjoy a free outdoor movie experience with popcorn, trivia, and family-friendly entertainment!
Who’s the best in Brownsburg? Show off your competitive side with Battle of Brownsburg, presented by Hendricks Regional Health on July 12 from 12-2 p.m. at Williams Park! A fun and competitive field day featuring exciting challenges like tug-of-war and obstacle courses! Gather a team of four and compete for bragging rights in the competitive adult or non-competitive family divisions.
Wrapping up the summer, enjoy one last Summer Soundtracks live music concert presented by Indiana Members Credit Union on August 16. Beginning at 6 p.m., this concert will feature Indy cover band The Doo! with soulful vocals and rock-solid beats to keep visitors moving all night long
